After 120 hours, when the roof of the tunnel was collapsed,the glacier, finally was Broken. Just a few visitants had the amazing Privilege, to see this long awaited moment.
The fall was recorded at 11:15am. of July 9th, 2008. So, beacuse it had happend early in the morning, most of the visitants hadn't arrived at the place yet.
This fact didn't can seen in all of the magnitude, because the ice wall that supports over the peninsula, didn't let see the front wall of the glacier.
